1987' Suzuki RM125 $3900.00
Absolutely perfect 1987 RM 125. Bike was completely rebuilt for my son to race in the evo class. Bike ran for 20 minutes since rebuild. Rebuild was done by professional builder, not a 'spray can in the garage' job. Every part has been either powder-coated or painted with DuPont ChromaOne urethane automotive paint. Many custom works type parts including carbon fiber engine mounts, carbon fiber coil mounts, Technosel seat, etc. Invested over $6000 in rebuild. Below is a list of NEW NOS parts (all parts were new, factory Suzuki unless otherwise noted):
front spokes and nipples
front wheel bearings
front rotor (lightweight galfer wave)
Front Forks rebuilt, new seals, fluid...
Steering head bearings
bars (MS Racing)
Grips, Renthal
Kill switch
clutch/brake perch levers and hardware
Clutch and throttle cables
front fender/rear fender
front numberplate
Front brake hose
Radiator mounts, hoses, cap, clamps, covers
Carbon fiber coil mount, new coil, plug boot
tank mounts
Technocel seat
numberplates and all decals
air filter
rear shock rebuilt, new seal, fluid, recharged
all bearings, seals and bushings in shock, linkage and swingarm replaced
chain and sprockets and all rollers and guides
rear spokes and nipples, wheels professionally built
Bridgestone tires front and rear
Even the little things like chain adjusters, axle nuts, cable guides are all NOS.
Now, for the engine...
NEW NOS cylinder with new power valve parts
piston, ring, pin, bearing, gaskets
New NOS engine cases! and all trans bearings
New NOS crank bearings, seals and rod, crank rebuilt and balanced by Max Power race engines
All bearings and seals new, if it was made from rubber or plastic, it was replaced!
Boyesen carbon reeds
DG Pipe and silencer, all new related seals, gaskets, springs
All fastners on bike either stainless or titanium.
I'm sure there are a hundred other little bits I'm overlooking, but the picture will speak for itself. This bike is as close to a new works RM from the 80's that you will ever run across. Absolutely NO expense was spared on this bike and it really is better than the day it came out of the dealership. This would make a great race bike or a museum piece. Feel free to ask any questions and I will be glad to send additional pictures, as I have plenty.Contact me at (828) 699-0531.
